Organic Radiation Quilt designed by Kaffe Fassett. Made from Kaffe Fassett and Brandon Mably fabrics, it features bold floral designs in strips radiating out from, the central four squares on point, organised in frames. It was made in response to the Hearts and Crosses Coverlet in The Quilters’ Guild Collection which features the same design, but this version uses more earthy tones of fabrics.
The quilt was made and exhibited as part of the Ancestral Gifts exhibition at The Quilt Museum and Gallery, curated by Kaffe Fassett, 15 May – 5 September 2015. The exhibition showcased 15 quilts made by Kaffe inspired by partner pieces in The Quilters' Guild Collection. This piece was kindly donated by Kaffe Fassett for the Collection.
