The quilt is made from a traditional block design called Cloak and Dagger, which has been tilted to creat movement in the design. The colours represent those that can be seen at sunset over Lake Powell, Arizona. Some hand dyed cottons have been added to commercial cottons to make this machine pieced and hand quilted piece. Commissioned and presented by Region 3 (Hampshire, Wiltshire, Channel Islands and Isle of Wight).
A quilt from The Nineties Collection - quilts commissioned from quiltmakers working during the 1990s.
