The raised design of painted flowers on china was the influence for this applique design, which uses traditional fabrics and embroidered stems and insects to express a feeling for nature and natural shape. Commissioned and presented by Region 3 (Hampshire, Wiltshire, Channel Islands and Isle of Wight).
