Recycled Sweetie Paper Evening Bags with Ann Holden
Create stunning and unique evening bags to match your favourite outfit using layers of sheer fabric, sweetie papers, and machining using decorative automatic or utility stitches. In the spirit of wartime 'make do and mend', this is an inventive way to recycle what would normally be thrown away, and to make something creative and beautiful from it. No-one will guess that the subtle shimmer peeking through the fabric comes courtesy of Cadbury’s or Kit Kat!
Space on course is limited so please book early.
There will be a small materials charge on the day to the tutorand a requirements list sent out on booking. All cutting equipment, sewing machines and hand-sewing kit will be provided.
