This piece is a replica of the Lugley House Coverlet which has block printed furnishing fabrics and roller printed dress fabrics from the 1830s. The Lugley House Coverlet was in the Warp, Weft, and the Printer's Block exhibiton at the Quilt Museum and Gallery in 2008. Museum volunteer Glenda led the project to make the replica quilt sample. She used antique sheet music to make the paper hexagons for this piece.
