A large eight-pointed star is applied to the middle of the central field, and smaller eight-pointed stars are applied in the corners of the central field. Appliqued butterflies surround the central star, with simple animal and human figures filling the field. There are seven frames and extra borders surrounding the central field, and the top and bottom are embroidered with biblical texts. The fabrics are multi coloured cotton sewn together with red thread. This piece is hand-embroidered, hand-pieced, and hand-appliqued.
