The contemporary exhibition in the Museum's Bailey Gallery features the work of Edge - Textile Artists Scotland. The group was formed in 1999 following the amalgamation of three textile groups whose members were graduates of Glasgow School of Art; Edinburgh College of Art; and Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee. Since then the group has expanded its membership to include people who have some formally recognised education in textiles.
