Quilt Museum and Gallery

St Anthony's Appeal PDF Print E-mail

The Quilt Museum and Gallery is owned and operated by The Quilters' Guild of the British Isles (Registered Charity number 1067361).  To enable the establishment of this new museum, The Guild has embarked on an ambitious programme of fund-raising (the St Anthony's Appeal) with a goal of £500,000.

A generous legacy from Barbara Bailey made the search for a permanent home for our collections possible, and over the last five years, various fund raising efforts have added to the funds available.  The bequest from Barbara Bailey forms the backbone of the funds raised so far and we are asking Guild members, quilting groups and the public to contribute to fund raising for the project in any way they feel able, as well as applying to the Heritage Lottery, Arts Council and other grant giving bodies for help with specific parts of the project.
