The Quilters' Guild currently has 22 quilts from the Collection on display to see in Hartlepool.

Inspired by the drama of the poem The Highwayman, and the historic St Anthony's Hall, the children will work with out practising textile artist to design their own unique fabric piece using collage and stitching to create a class narrative of the famous poem

History student Claire Price delves into the history of one of the Quilters' Guild's most recent acquisitions. Read her fascinating journey to discover the potential maker of the coverlet and what their life could have been like at the time the coverlet was made.

The Quilt Museum has opened it's collections up to Libby Crofts, our very own writer in residence, who will be using the Museum and the objects it cares for as inspiration for a series of short stories.
