Embroidery Workshop: Goldwork- 'Phoenix Rising from the Flames'
Create your own stunning interpretation of one of St Anthony's Hall’s medieval roof bosses in this fabulous one-day workshop with City and Guilds tutor and Embroiderer, Ann Holden. The phoenix rising from the flames is firstly painted with lustrous metallic paints, then each type of metallic thread is identified and the correct method of stitching is shown. This workshop is suitable for the beginner as well as the more experienced stitcher.
